Board Decisions – 15th November 2011
- Consultation will take place in January with regards to the rent setting and structure for 2012/2013
- The crime working group will continue to work with our local partners to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in our estates
- The Board approved the revised Business Plan following discussion with the lenders
- Two stage 3 complaints were upheld by the complaints committee. Lessons learned will be used to inform future service delivery
- Following investigation and taking account of professional opinion, the Board decided that there is no requirement to install carbon monoxide detectors in all RCH properties. All gas mains installations are robustly managed by the Gas Safety team and gas safety advice will be included in the next tenants newsletter
- A market testing exercise will be carried out to ascertain if there is any interest in utilising the office at Scarlow Street which is no longer used
- The Board noted the position in relation to financial and operational performance up to the end of September 2011 and also noted the progress made in relation to the Internal Management Plan (IMP)
- Following consultation, the Board granted delegated authority to the Chief Executive to finalise agreement with the trade union partnership on the new staff handbook and contractual terms of employment
