Tender Evaluation

The first stage of any tender evaluation is to ensure that all companies who wish to work for River Clyde Homes’ are financially stable. Financial checks on prospective tenderers are carried out on our behalf by Dunn and Bradstreet. Any company that is not deemed financially stable will not be taken forward for full evaluation.

Tenders are awarded on the basis of the most ‘economically advantageous’ offer and are subject to a robust evaluation process by River Clyde Homes’ officials. The evaluation criteria may include, but are not limited to:

  • Tender Rates
  • Management of the Contract
  • Previous Track Record & Experience
  • Agreement to timescales
  • References

Each tender submission will be evaluated and be allocated a score out of 100. The specific evaluation criteria and the weighting score available for each element will be included within the tender document.

Tenderers are encouraged to read all the documentation and pay close attention to any additional information added onto, or any questions and subsequent answers raised, on the Public Contracts Website.

When the tendering process is complete RCH will letter all successful and unsuccessful bidders, providing feedback on their submission.
