Join The Board

We currently have vacancies on our Board for both Tenant and Community Board members. By becoming a Board member, you will have an active role in shaping the future of the organisation helping to deliver high quality services to the community.

Board Structure

The work of the Board is voluntary and unpaid (although out of pocket expenses will be paid), with Board membership being drawn from three specific community groups as follows:

  • Tenant (Membership: 6) - Open to all tenants of River Clyde Homes and their partners who live with them
  • Community (Membership: 5) - Open to individual residents of Inverclyde aged 16 and over and to groups or organisations
  • Council (Membership: 4) - Open to nominees from Inverclyde Council

The representation on the Board has been designed so as to ensure there is balance and that no single interest group has overall control of decision making. Board members will be expected to contribute to the development of the organisation from personal experience, bringing their particular skills and expertise to help the Board to come to the best decisions for the benefit of the whole community. Your knowledge as a member of the local community is very valuable to the Board.
