scarlow street office consultation outcomes
18/06/2009
At the River Clyde Homes' Board meeting on Tuesday 16th June 2009, the results of the Scarlow Street consultation were discussed. In light of a tenant's survey and study findings, the Board decided to carry out a six month trial with opening hours that more closely reflect the customer use of the office.
All those tenants who were sent the survey originally, were sent a letter on Wednesday, explaining the decision.
The new hours, from Monday 6 July, are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am - 1pm.
A questionnaire regarding River Clyde Homes' Scarlow Street office was sent to some 2220 tenants in April and almost 500 replies were received, and the Board and staff wish to thank everyone who responded.
Among the findings, the results showed that over 25% of those who responded had never used the office and that a further 7% had only used it once. 60% of those who responded to the survey contacted the office by phone.
A survey was also carried out of the visitors to the office, from 15th April to 18th May, when the office was open for 171 hours. The survey showed that in that period there were 100 hours when only 2 people or less called into the office per hour.
The office survey will be continued and a report on the use of the office will be considered by the Board following the trial period.
