Oak Tree Housing Association

Oak Tree Housing Association and River Clyde Homes have embarked on an exploration of how closer working between the two organisations could benefit tenants and other customers.

At their respective Management Committee and Board meetings this week, the organisations agreed to explore the opportunities over the next six months. A report is due back to both organisations in August with recommendations on joint measures to improve services for customers.

River Clyde Homes Chief Executive, Karen Neary said "We are looking forward to working with our colleagues at Oak Tree Housing Association to consider how, together, we can make a positive difference for all of our customers in Inverclyde.
She added: 'Over the next six months we will be taking account of a range of views including those of staff and partners who have an interest in thriving communities in Inverclyde."

Nick Jardine, Director of Oak Tree Housing Association said 'Over the years we have continually sought to improve services and working with other local providers is a cornerstone of our approach. We welcome the opportunity to examine new ways of working to the benefit of both organisation's customers and partners.'

Oak Tree Housing Association has been working in Inverclyde since 1986 and River Clyde Homes is Scotland's newest housing association. Together, the organisations house 8300 families throughout the area.
