River Clyde Homes Announces New Chief Executive
Lynne Carr who is currently the acting chief executive at the Glasgow Simon Community will take up the post at the end of September.
Roy Steel, chair of River Clyde Homes said: “We faced a tough selection process but Lynne was the standout candidate and I am pleased that she will be bringing her valuable experience in the social housing sector to River Clyde Homes.
“As everyone knows, we have been an ambitious organisation since day one and in a short space of time we have achieved more than we could have imagined. I am confident that Lynne will carry on the ambitious programme with vigour and work with Karen Neary, our current chief executive, to achieve a seamless handover.”
Lynne, who has 20 years experience in the housing arena, has worked for Staffordshire Housing Association as deputy chief executive, The new Housing Association as a consultant and was director of Cube Housing Association in Glasgow for over eight years. She has also worked extensively in the charitable sector.
