What is Tenancy Support?

We offer housing related support to tenants of River Clyde Homes. Our aim is to help tenants maintain their tenancies and manage their own homes.

We prioritise support and assistance to anyone who:

  • Is having difficulties with their tenancy;
  • Has gained their first River Clyde Homes tenancy;
  • Is under 25 years old or over 65 years of age or
  • Has previously been homeless.

The Support offered

We can provide support in a number of ways to help you keep your tenancy. Working with you, we will put together a package of support which meets your needs.

We can help you to:

  • Fill in Housing Benefit forms, Council Tax forms and any other housing applications;
  • Assist with day-to-day correspondence;
  • Register for gas and electricity supply to your home;
  • Liaise with other agencies on your behalf and
  • Gain access to other services e.g. – Social Work, Carr-Gomm, Voluntary Services etc. We can also:
  • Give you general advice on housing issues or concerns.

Access to the Tenancy Support Team

There are three ways you can access the Tenancy Support service.

  • Ask for a referral at River Clyde Homes’ offices;
  • If you already have a support worker, for example, a social worker, ask them to refer you or
  • By contacting the Tenancy Support Team.

This service is available to all River Clyde Homes’ tenants and is confidential. We will not pass information to any other agency without your agreement.
