Many organisations across Inverclyde have been providing essential food parcels during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of the #FoodForAll campaign,  you now have a chance to help those in the community by nominating Inverclyde Foodbank for a £1,000 grant.

Simply email and provide the food bank’s name, registered charity number (SC037754) and a short paragraph explaining what difference they are making in your local area.

More about the campaign

MIS Group, a software and IT services company, provide River Clyde Homes with the ActiveH Housing Management system. Over the next ten weeks, the company has pledged to donate a total of £20,000 to twenty UK-based food banks, as part of their Food for All campaign.

The campaign, which it has called Food for All will see the company donate £2000 each week (two charities per week) across the ten weeks to foodbanks up and down the UK in a bid to stamp out food poverty.

During the UK’s twelve week lockdown the reliance on foodbanks in the UK has sharply risen affecting the most vulnerable people in society - especially children. MIS Group wanted to provide financial support during a difficult period in many people’s daily lives, as well as raise the profile of these amazing charities.
