Jobs Fair
A successful day with Inverclyde Council
3 October 2025
Nicola Holt and Megan Wright along with Kieron Feeney and Lee O’Donnell our two Horticulture Apprentices attended a recent Jobs Fair hosted by Inverclyde Council in partnership with Greenock Job Centre and Skills Development.
Lots of local employers attended the jobs fair representing many different sectors such as construction, security services, transport, manufacturing, public sector and Care. The job fair was a great success, with an amazing turnout from the local community.
Megan Wright, HR Officer said “The jobs fayre was a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with potential candidates and showcase our organisation’s values and career pathways. The event was well-attended, and we had meaningful conversations with individuals from a range of backgrounds”.
Kieron Feeney, Horticulture Apprentice said “Attending the job fayre as a representative of our organisation was a brilliant experience. It gave me the chance to speak with people who are considering apprenticeships and share my own journey. I enjoyed answering questions and helping others understand what it's really like to be an apprentice”.
