Storm Eowyn - Repairs and Maintenance Update
Update for customers on our service status
27 January 2025
Latest update: 30th January 2025
Storm Eowyn has caused a large increase in the need for external repairs across River Clyde Homes properties. We understand the disruption and potential worry this may cause, and we want to assure our residents that we are taking all necessary steps to address the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The sheer volume of damage caused by the storm has placed significant demands on our teams. To speed up the repair process and ensure we can reach everyone in a timely manner, we have partnered with a number of trusted external contractors. This collaborative approach allows us to significantly increase our capacity and tackle these repairs more effectively.
Our current plan is to address all outstanding storm-related external repairs within the next 4 to 6 weeks. We understand this timeframe may cause frustration, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this significant undertaking. We are prioritising repairs based on urgency, with a focus on ensuring the safety and security of our residents and their homes.
We are committed to keeping you informed throughout this process and we will be providing regular updates on this page. If you have any urgent concerns, please do not hesitate to contact River Clyde Homes directly. Our team is here to answer your questions and provide support.
We thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding as we work to repair your homes and communities.
