Corporate social responsibility

As one of Inverclyde’s largest companies, we recognise that we have responsibilities to the wider community. We aim to meet these responsibilities in a number of ways:

• Providing sustainable and affordable homes that meet the needs of our local communities;
• Having a robust business plan which helps to create employment for local people including opportunities for work experience, training and apprenticeships;
• Exploiting opportunities through procurement to secure benefits for our local businesses, suppliers, social enterprises and charities where possible;
• Supporting and developing opportunities through our business activities for all our customers (tenants and factored owners) to further develop their life skills including readiness for work;
• Support for charities either local or national, including community projects that involve our customers;
• Encouraging volunteering of our staff within the local community to add capacity and share skills.
