Electrical Safety

River Clyde Homes have a legal duty to ensure the electrical safety of the homes we provide.  To meet this legal obligation, our contractor Home Fix Scotland carry out electrical safety checks on our properties. These electrical safety checks are known as Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and these must be carried out to ensure the safety our tenants.

Home Fix Scotland have been carrying out essential works on our behalf and during this time have experienced difficulties gaining access to Tenant’s homes, with tenants not responding to letters or answering phone calls.  We ask that you please help to facilitate these works by allowing access if our contractors write or call you requesting access.

It is our preference to work with Customers to gain access to the property as this is a legal obligation for us and should we experience difficulty in gaining access it can result in forced entry to your property with any associated costs being charged to you.
